Year of Cards Gift Box and Some Candy!

Here is my project for Febrary for Craft Project Central!

Year of Cards Gift Box:

Do you have too many birthdays and occasions to remember? Or, do you know someone who would love to receive a years worth of occasion cards? This beautiful and sturdy gift box contains six portfolios with a pocket for each month of the year. On each month’s pocket there is a tag where you can write names, dates, and occasions for that month to help you remember all of those special dates and occasions! Each pocket in the portfolio will hold five to six A2 size cards and envelopes depending on how bulky the cards are. That means that this beautiful gift box can hold 60 – 72 cards and envelopes! This project is also a great class project!

  1. This is a fantastic idea! exactly what i need! I really love to sit down and make cards only 2-3x per year for this purpose - i don't have time to do it monthly and it's important to me that i don't forget these days. and, my list is always growing customers, neighbors, friends, family, coworkers..etc etc. I'd love to see a pic of the box open will all the "files" in there too - i always keep a spare set of cards in my desk at work, i think this box could be relabeled instead of month do it by occasion - thank you, friend, hello, birthday male..etc etc. THANKS for great tutorial!! will send all my crafty friends here!

  17. Oh! I am loving this! This is so beautiful. What a fantastic idea and I would so love winning this tutorial. I make over 250 cards a year. Between birthdays and Anniversarie alone I make over 90 cards. Then there are the Christmas cards I make for each of 20 families and this is not including the graduation, wedding, new baby, etc. cards during a year now. I also make over 130 birthday cards for the ladies in our church. So I would dearly love something like this to help keep track of everyone and be able to have a nice place to store the cards as I create them. All I can say again is: WOW! Thanks for the chance.
