Blush Concord Blossoms

This card was created for the SCCSC68 sketch challenge on Stampin’ Connection. This week’s sketch was created by Susie Nelson. Here is the sketch:

And here is my card:

Stamps: Pretty Petals, Occasional Quotes
Cardstock: Pear Pizzaz, Whisper White, Concord Crush, Blush Blossom
DSP: Concord Crush, Blush Blossom
Ink: Pear Pizzaz
Accessories: Modern Label Punch, Needle Tool, Mat Pack, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Glimmer Brads, Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The card base is Pear Pizzaz cardstock cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. The card front was stamped with the Pretty Petals background stamp in Pear Pizzaz ink. A piece of Concord Crush DSP was cut at 1 ½” x 4” and was adhered to a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 1 5/8” x 4 1/8”. This was adhered to the card front. A piece of Blush Blossom cardstock was cut at 1 ½” x 4” and was adhered to a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 1 5/8” x 4 1/8”. This was adhered to the card front.

Two flowers were punched from Blush Blossom cardstock and one was punched from Concord Crush cardstock. Three middle layers were punched from Whisper White cardstock and adhered behind the Blush Blossom and Concord Crush flowers with the Two-Way Glue Pen. The Needle Tool and Mat Pack were used to pierce a hole in the center of each flower and a Glimmer Brad was added.

The largest layer of the flower was punched three times with Whisper White cardstock. The color flower was adhered to the large Whisper White flowers with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Then each of these flowers were adhered to the card front with another Stampin’ Dimensional.

The greeting was stamped in Pear Pizzaz cardstock on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, punched out with the Modern Label Punch and adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

If you are a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator you can find the challenge thread here. If you are not a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator I would still love to see your creations. Please post a link to your card in the comments section of this post!
