Vacation Scrapbook Page

Today I have a My Digital Studio scrapbook page to show you. These are a couple of pictures from the Disney Cruise vacation that my Husband, Myself, and a bunch of my family went to last fall. I will say that we had the best time ever! I just can't wait until we get to go again in 31 days! Anyway...here is the page:

This page features a technique that allows you to use a photo as your background paper. To do this open up a new project as a blank page. Add a photo box and enlarge the photo box to fit the size of your page by dragging the corners. I made sure to make it just a little bit larger than the page so there aren't any un-even white lines around the edge. Then add your photo and change the opacity to about 50%. Then you will have a background paper that looks like mine above.

This page also features the new stamp brush set All In A Word and the set Frames With A Flourish. I added my photo and mat, some silver brads from the Hodgepodge Hardware kit, some text, and that was it! I really wanted to keep this page simple to show off the background photo.

What do you think? Falling in love with My Digital Studio yet? Come back tomorrow to see a color challenge card!
